Prospectus exerpt:  We are offering $250,000,000 of 6.50% GE Capital* InterNotes® due August 15, 2048 (the "Notes"). The Notes will be our senior obligations and will rank on parity with all of our existing and future unsecured and unsubordinated indebtedness. We will pay interest on the Notes on February 15th, May 15th, August 15th and November 15th of each year and on the Maturity Date. The first such payment will be on November 15, 2008 (long first coupon). We may redeem the Notes, in whole or in part, at any time on or after August 15, 2013 at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount redeemed plus accrued and unpaid interest to the redemption date. The Notes will be issued in minimum denominations of $25 and integral multiples thereof. There will be no Survivors Option available in connection with these Notes.
