Preferred Stock Offering Details: First Republic Bank ("First Republic") (NYSE: FRC), a private bank and wealth management company, today announced the pricing of a public offering of 8,000,000 depositary shares, each representing a 1/40th interest in a share of its 7.00% Noncumulative Perpetual Series E Preferred Stock, at a public offering price of $25.00 per depositary share. The offering is expected to close on October 28, 2013, subject to customary closing conditions.

First Republic Bank is a commercial bank and trust company. Co. focuses on providing personalized, relationship-based services, including private banking, private business banking, real estate lending and wealth management services, including trust and custody services to clients in selected metropolitan areas. Co. operates its business through two reportable business segments: Commercial Banking, which includes real estate secured lending, retail deposit gathering, private banking activities, mortgage sales and servicing, and managing capital; and Wealth Management, which consists of the investment management activities of Co.'s subsidiary First Republic Investment Management, Inc.
