Abrdn Income Credit Strategies Fund | 5.250% Series A Preferred Shares (ACP.PRA)

Prospectus excerpt:  The Fund is offering an aggregate of 1,600,000 shares of 5.250 % Series A Perpetual Preferred Shares, par value $0.001 per share. The Preferred Shares will have a liquidation preference of $25.00 per share, plus accumulated and unpaid dividends. See “Special Characteristics and Risks of the Preferred Shares—Liquidation.” The dividend rate will be 5.250%. Dividends will be paid when, as and if declared by, or under authority granted by, the Board of Trustees, out of funds legally available therefore. Dividends and distributions on the Preferred Shares will accumulate from the date of their original issue. Dividends and distributions will be paid quarterly on March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31 in each year (or, in each case, if such date is not a business day, the next succeeding business day), commencing on June 30, 2021. The dividend rate is subject to adjustment under certain circumstances. See “Special Characteristics and Risks of the Preferred Shares—Dividends.”
