Golar LNG is a holding company. Through its subsidiaries, Co. designs, builds, owns and operates marine infrastructure for the liquefaction and regasification of liquefied natural gas (LNG). In Shipping segment, Co. operates and subsequently charters out LNG carriers on fixed terms to customers. Co. owns an LNG carrier and a Floating Storage Regasification Unit, the Golar Tundra. In Floating Liquefaction Natural Gas (FLNG) segment, Co. converts LNG carriers into FLNG vessels and subsequently charters them out to customers. Co. has an operational FLNG, the Hilli, an undergoing conversion, the Gimi, and an LNG carrier earmarked for FLNG conversion, the Gandria.
